~Adored~

Adored by Cicily von Ziegesar...

Brett Messerchmidt is planning Waverly Academy's annual holiday ball and gift exchange. But when some enterprising students decide that playing Secret Satan is infinitely more fun, the entire school starts acting naughty. Now all Brett wants for Christmas is a quiet holiday-and a kiss from a certain someone under the mistletoe. Too bad Callie Vernon has the same idea. Ho ho no! Everybody at Waverly is getting into the giving spirit. The only present Tinsley Carmichael wants to unwrap this holiday is her new boyfriend, Julian McCafferty. But what happens when she uncovers a shady secret from his past instead? Santa knows when you've been bad or good . . . but what's the point of being good when being bad is so much fun?

Adored is the eighth book in the it girl series. I have been addicted to this series since the first one came out!! This one was one of my favorites for of a lot of reasons. One it is around the holiday times right after thanksgiving break, and i loved the whole idea of Secret Satan! Heath is just so Crudely witty that you just have to love him! Also the second reason is a new character becomes a main character-Sebastian. He is your typical bad boy that lures in every single Waverly Girl. The Secret Satan idea and how Cecily plays it out is so cunning, and yet again the fashion is impeccable! I ADORE reading about Chanel Coats and Juicy bags, this Book is a must read! Make sure to read the whole series

I give it a 5/5 suns

Man Oh Man Monday!!!

This is the first OH MAN OH MAN MONDAY
On Man oh Man Mondays im going to Talk about a certain male character i loved, or am excited to read about! Since i am such a chick-lit-girly-romance-book-lover, what is a good romance without the main sexy man :)

This week is Easy Walsh from, "The it girl" By Cecily von Ziegesar !

Easy is the Perfect boy toy, he is "Easy" (haha) and laid back, with he doesn't give a fuck attitude. With his artsy side and oh so mysterious he has all the girls drooling over him. Especially Callie Vernon, his on and off again gilfriend. They are the perfect couple, but then he just cant help but like lil' jenny humpfrey.

Easy is so realistic and you cant help but fall in love with him!
~Make sure to read about him, in the It Girl Series~

Write on Camp...

Hey guys sorry i haven been posting for a while... its because I just finished doing this internship this whole week. Its a writing camp for kids, and its super fun! I get to guide them and help them write, i love it!!! I love inspiring young minds, plus i get to write myself too! Also they bring in these Really cool authors...
I met Jessica Day George who wrote "Sun, moon, ice, and snow" and "Dragon Slippers".
She was super animated and really had fun with the kids, although she was kind of TOO sarcastic for my taste. But i bet you didn't know she got rejected 187 times!!!!WOW

then we had Becky Hall who is a children s picture book author of "Morris and buddy" and "a is for arches" and she was this cute librarian who told us all her tips and tricks for non-fiction writing.

Finale-my favorite- was J. Scott Savage. He wrote "Far World" and he was the most useful and gave thousands and thousands tips and tricks and advice for young authors. He told us about queries(SP) and to just put all your ideas on paper.

Just wanted to say i love you guys even though i only have 2 followers :( Oh well ha ha !!!
thanks and you will be hearing from me soon

Scarlet Letter

Quick Question: So i have to read this for next year's honors English class, and let me just say its really confusing! I mean i can tell its going to be great but its so hard to interpret. Nathaniel Hawthorne was a great author, and has written many great pieces. But my question to you guys is have you read it, and if so do you have any tips on how to dig in and decipher this book! Thanks in advance! HBR!

Books Turned into......

Tons of books now-a-days are turning into t.v. shows and movies and all these fancy-smancy things.

Twilight is now an international multi-million dollar Movie
How to teach filthy rich girls by zoey dean- is now a t.v. series( Privileged)
Private(one of my favorite series)- is now going to be an online t.v. series
Gossip girl( favorite sereis ever!!)- is a T.V. series on C.W
Sisterhood of the traveling pants- Movies
Pretty little liars- supposedly going to be a series on ABC

And all these great books are now being turned into *stuff* that is just not the same as the images and imaginative creative thoughts that goes through your mind while reading. Reading takes you on this Crazy adventure that just cant be put on a certain image. Granted i'm addicted to gossip girl the T.V. show even though its nothing like the books. On the other hand Twilight was such a disappointment, and so my question to you is...

What Book turned (Movie, TV Show) was Fantabulous, and which ones Sucked, and do you think authors should stop?????

Wish List Wednesday

This is a new idea, and every so Wednesday im going to post books that im excited to read that are coming out soon! This week is Godess Boot Camp by Tera Lynn Childs...
Phoebe recently discovered she’s a descendent of Nike (the goddess, not the shoe), and now she's finding out that supernatural powers come with a crazy learning curve. Her new stepfather, headmaster of the Academy for descendants of Greek gods, has enrolled her in Dynamotheos Development Camp—aka Goddess Boot Camp—with a bunch of ten-year-olds for the summer. Embarrassing as that is, hopefully it’ll help her get control of her powers in time to pass the test of the gods, continue training hard enough to qualify for the Pythian Games (the only sporting event bigger than the Olympics), and enjoy her godly boyfriend, Griffin, all while avoiding getting smoted for accidental misuse of powers! It’s another fast-paced myth-inspired heroine’s quest that’s sure to bring out the goddess in anyone.

I can not wait for this Book to come out! I read the first book ( Oh My Gods) and fell in love!!! Its all the Girl-boy crazed love drama but with Mythical gods! i'm not really into the whole Fairy's and Vampire stuff( okay okay i'm addicted to Twilight....) But Gods and Goddess Stuff is so Cool! I love how accurate all the Info is about Zeus and Hera!! Cant wait for this Beach Read!!!

Boy Crazy

Boy crazy by Hailey abbot...

How to Date Like a Guy:

1. Flirt constantly.

2. Keep your options open.

3. Don't get attached.

Cassie and her two best friends, Greta and Keagan, are so over boyfriends. But just because the girls are anti-boyfriend doesn't mean they're anti-boy. So they make a pact for the summer: They'll each kiss ten different guys before school starts—no commitments, no drama, just fun. Sounds easy enough. Then Cassie meets the perfect guy (nine boys too soon), and the pact starts to seem like a terrible idea. Not to mention Boy Number One turns out to be her best friend's ex. Ugh—Cassie's summer just went from carefree to complicated faster than she can say "heartbreaker."

Boy crazy by Hailey abbot is the definition of a perfect beach read. This is the journey on how 3 girls kiss their way through love this summer, no strings attached! Through 10-boy summer pact, what can go wrong???Cassie is your innocent ordinary girl who is not a tomboy, but loves the outdoors . Greta on the other hand is the total opposite. She is your typical shopping-craved girly girl, who can create a good time in any situation. Keagan is so SoCal and is ready for some lip lock action. You don't really get the depths about her, but you can tell she is simply sweet! When Cassie falls in love with Trey, the OMG-sexy boy she first meets, she thinks its love at first site. But she soon finds out ,by Greta, that he is the typical player!! I adore the way Cassie and Treys life cross paths and Hailey did such a good job portraying thier struggle and secrecy of love. With all the fun, and a zillion boys on the side "Boy Crazy" cant be put down.
