Killer
Hanna, Aria, Spencer, and Emily have been lying ever since they became friends with beautiful Alison DiLaurentis. Ali made them do terrible things—things they had to keep secret for years. And even though Ali was killed at the end of seventh grade, their bad-girl ways didn't die with her.
Hanna's on a mission to corrupt Rosewood's youth, starting with a very attractive sophomore. Aria's snooping into her boyfriend's past. Spencer's stealing—from her family. And pure little Emily's abstaining from abstinence.
The girls should be careful, though. They thought they were safe when Ali's killer was arrested and A's true identity was finally revealed. But now there's a new A in town turning up the heat. And this time Rosewood is going to burn.

Hollywood is like high school with money
Twenty-four-year old Taylor Henning has just landed her dream job as an assistant at a major movie studio. But when her catty coworkers trick her into almost getting fired, she realizes that the old saying "Hollywood is like school with money" just may be true. The thing is, Taylor wasn't exactly a social butterfly in high school-how is she supposed to do any better the second time around?
That's when she meets her boss's popular sixteen-year-old daughter Quinn, and has an epiphany: maybe this teenager can teach her how to use her queen bee tactics to succeed in the Hollywood popularity contest. Quinn comes up with a plan to teach Taylor one lesson a week-everything from "Fake it 'til you make it" to "It's *never* your fault"--and soon Taylor finds herself winning the war against rival assistant Kylie. Until, that is, she's directed to steal Kylie's boyfriend, and something happens that's not in the game plan: Taylor falls for the guy. Now she must do the impossible-- harness her inner mean girl while staying true to herself.
Although this is an adult novel-i quite enjoyed this book! It's fun, witty, catty, and quick;with a side of business and fashion. Hollywood is like high school with money reminded me a lot of devil wears Prada and Confessions of a shopaholic! I loved Taylor and her innocence yet smart-ass qualities, while trying to improve in work through a sixteen year old. Also the side characters were well developed and thought out!!! Also i loved the idea of working for this high end movie company!! Such a cute and fun Beach read! Defiantly worth reading!!

Shiver
For years, Grace has watched the wolves that live behind her house for years. A yellowed eyed wolf... her wolf has a chilling presence. Maybe it is the fact, that this wolf saved her life once. Meanwhile, Sam leads two lives. One in the forest during the winter, watching a girl. Another in the summer, where he has a few moments of being human until he gets turned back by the cold. An another attack has happened again, but unlike Grace, Jack is dead and his family wants something to happen. A hunting party has gathered to kill all the wolves in the forest. Grace goes to stop them and on her back porch, she finds a boy with those same yellow eyes. It is her wolf somehow. Winter is near, so Grace and Sam have to find a way to stop him from changing.
When i read Shiver it reminded me a lot of twilight. Not the story line or characters ,but how i felt after reading it!! After reading twilight, i hated it, lets be honest! I thought it was stupid and dry, and why oh why did i waste my time... later the next day i kept thinking about Bella and Edward ...long story short... i now own all the books and am not ashamed to like them. I don't obsess or anything but they are a good read! Okay so now shiver- When i finished shiver i wasn't amazed or felt like a learned a life lesson. I wasn't automatically in love and re-reading my favorite parts. It wasn't horribly bad, but i just didn't feel that "click". I thought that a girl who was i love with a wolf(that she didn't know for sure was a werewolf) was kind of weird. Aside from that i liked the way grace acted when Sam was actually human. It felt real and that sense of loving someone so much it makes your heart sick. Also the idea of changing with the temperature was really cute and new! On the other hand, I was really confused the whole time i was reading this. I didnt have that great vivid image while reading because i was lost. Haha okay okay so this actually has nothing to do with twilight, because after a couple of days im still not amazed. Sorry for that really weird comparison :/ So overall-really confusing, but underneath that, an okay story.

Lovestruck Summer
Austin music fest
Yay, summer in Austin!
Good food, good times. Fun for everyone!
Okay, living with my sorority-brainwashed cousin, who willingly goes by "Party Penny," is not exactly what I had in mind.
All your favorite bands
But the cute musicians I've met totally make up for it . . . like Sebastian. Swoon.
All ages welcome
So why can't I stop thinking about Penny's friend All-American Russ and his Texas twang??
Saturday & Sunday, from noon to midnight
Don't wait up!
Lovestruck Summer had all the elements. I loved the music intertwined throughout the whole book! It just brought everything together! The setting in Texas was perfect! I loved all the hot spots, and music events with flair. The Characters were perfectly nutty. Priscilla "Quinn" was a total rocker chic- with that stubborn know it all sense. Penny, her cousin, was just girly enough and i loved how she was in a sorority. And Russ, oh Russ, such a cutie southerner-big belt wearing, fantastic abs,-hottie!!! Although, it was the basic storyline of a girl falling for the oh so not right guy... I loved every second of it!!!

Bitersweet sixteen
Laura, a scholarship student at an elite high school in New York City, is surrounded by superficial, backstabbing rich girls, all obsessed with having the best Sweet Sixteen party. Despite the differences in lifestyles, she has a solid group of friends, as well as a best friend, Whitney. Everything is running smoothly until the new girl, Sophie, arrives. She is extremely rich, pretty, and fashionable, and wiggles her way right into Laura's group of friends and disrupts the equilibrium of the clique. Before long, everyone is fighting. Laura is the only one who remains true to herself and, with the help of a certain boy, learns about the importance of friendship. Designer names are dropped throughout and the girls are fixated on their weight, capturing some of the issues that teenage girls obsess over in America. But underneath all the fluff and superficiality are lessons on friendship and love
I have to admit, i bought this book on an impulse!! It was only two dollars! 2$!!! And how bad could a pink striped book be?? And it truly wasn't horrible!! Okay okay it was cheesy and totally predictable, but overall an enjoyable fluff read!! There of course isn't any actual story line besides that these two uber-queen bees are fighting over the best possible sweet sixteen!! I did however like Laura- who had awesome parents and knew how to use a sewing machine! And of course the boy that the two Girls are fighting over-laura ends getting to be more than friends with :). The characters were okay-personally they all seemed alike to me! The story line could have been a lot better, but i adored how you got to see the reality of how some 16 year olds really go to all the limits just to be better than the someone else. Although it was totally predictable, an great read for two-dollars!! A good Beach read-if you have nothing else!!

If i Stay
What if you had everything: A gorgeous boyfriend who was madly in love with you? Quirky hip parents who totally got you? A musical talent that could take you anywhere? What if your biggest problem in life was choosing which path to take? Follow your first love--music-- to New York City? Or stay with your boyfriend, friends, and family? What if one day, you went out for a drive... And in an instant everything changed? What if suddenly all the other choices were gone? Except for one--the only one that truly mattered? What would you do?
I had no idea what to expect when i started reading If i stay. i must say, though, if i stay was absolutely brilliant! If i stay is the type of book that you cant help but cry in, but in a life-lessson, makes you feel good by eating chocolate kind of way! I loved Mia's Story-how music and family and friends played a huge role in her life! She can take every memory she has and turn it into a learning experience! The writing was fantastic! I loved how she was a third person looking in on the situation and then every so often going back to her wonderful memories!!! the writing was spectacular- and just when im balling my eyes out the author switches over to a memory that is so happy, you cant help but smile! Every single aspect of this book was so well placed and done perfectly! The characters were very relate able. Mia, the outcast musician in the family, is very quite and is very focused on her cello. While Adam is the Rocker-punk, that gets all the attention. But somehow they connect on a level that is undescribable. Besides the main characters all the sub-characters were amazing and well rounded, i especially enjoyed her grandparents!!! Wonderfully Fantastic!

For Desi Bascomb, who's been longing for a bit of glamour in her Idaho life, the choice is a definite C--that is, once she can stop pinching herself. As her new agent Meredith explains, Desi has a rare magical ability: when she applies the ancient Egyptian formula "Royal Rouge," she can transform temporarily into the exact lookalike of any princess who needs her subbing services. Dream come true, right?
Well, Desi soon discovers that subbing involves a lot more than wearing a tiara and waving at cameras. Like, what do you do when a bullying older sister puts you on a heinous crash diet? Or when the tribal villagers gather to watch you perform a ceremonial dance you don't know? Or when a princess's conflicted sweetheart shows up to break things off--and you know she would want you to change his mind?
In this hilarious, winning debut, one girl's dream of glamour transforms into something bigger: the desire to make a positive impact. And an impact Desi makes, one royal fiasco at a time.
This looks so adorable! Cant wait to read this one! Plus i pretty sure she is a Debut 2010!

Along for the ride
It’s been so long since Auden slept at night. Ever since her parents’ divorce—or since the fighting started. Now she has the chance to spend a carefree summer with her dad and his new family in the charming beach town where they live.A job in a clothes boutique introduces Auden to the world of girls: their talk, their friendship, their crushes. She missed out on all that, too busy being the perfect daughter to her demanding mother. Then she meets Eli, an intriguing loner and a fellow insomniac who becomes her guide to the nocturnal world of the town. Together they embark on parallel quests: for Auden, to experience the carefree teenage life she’s been denied; for Eli, to come to terms with the guilt he feels for the death of a friend. In her signature pitch-perfect style, Sarah Dessen explores the hearts of two lonely people learning to connect.
I was so so so EXCITED for Along for The Ride!!! But i have to say it wasn't amazingly fantastic or one of my favorites!!! It starts out really slow, and Towards the end, yeah it was good but it could have been so much better. I hated how slow it was between Auden and Eli- there was just a lot of dull relation's between the two! and then they start to get in a relation ship and then pow! she tells him off and for ten or so chapters there is no more Auden and Eli! I just wanted more Lust and Wanting from both of them I did however like the name Auden, and her relation ship with her family and step mom and lil' sister Isby! Also how Auden is recreating her childhood!!The bike idea, and relearning how to ride was cute, but I think Sarah Dessen could have done a lot better!
I'm debating between 3 and four so im just going to bump it up
What did you think of Along for the Ride??

A confection of a novel, combining big city sophistication with small town charm. When her mother moves them from the city to a small town to open up a cupcake bakery, Penny’s life isn’t what she expected. Her father has stayed behind, and Mom isn’t talking about what the future holds for their family. And then there’s Charity, the girl who plays mean pranks almost daily. There are also bright spots in Hog’s Hollow—like Tally, an expert in Rock Paper Scissors, and Marcus, the boy who is always running on the beach. But just when it looks as though Penny is settling in, her parents ask her to make a choice that will turn everything upside down again. A sweet novel about love, creativity, and accepting life’s unexpected turns.
I can not wait for this book because-hey-its about cupcakes, and I'm ADDICTED to cupcakes!! Yumm... anyways... im excited to see what the author does with a bakery and love and all the drama! Cant wait! Plus the cover is Oh-so-Cute, who doesnt love pink frosting :)
