I received lipstick apology after sending an email to Jennifer telling her i was so excited to read her book, and would love to review it! She was so nice to get me an arc, and i want to say thank you ever so much!

I really enjoyed lipstick apology! At first a thought it was going to be a mystery/adventure type of book, but then i found out it's more about a girl trying to find herself in New York! After Emily's parents' tragic death she goes to live with her makeup-obsessed famous Aunt.(personally i would love that-not the death part) Emily not necessarily changes but evolves as a person while facing challenges. I love the plot line of her trying to figure out her moms last words, while juggling her new life in New York. The characters were very quirky and not at all expected. Trent one of my favorite characters, plays Emily's aunts' best friend who is a hairstylist. He always has funny advice and makes this novel work. Lindsey-popular queen bee- surprised me. She was really nice, not your typical bitchy brat- and becomes great friends with Emily, helping her throughout Lipstick apology. Plus let me just say the boys were scrumptious!!!! Overall a fun, not expected read that kept me glued to the pages with all the glitz and glam!

I was not expecting Twenty boy summer to be more than its name-all about boys! What a got was a heart-wrenching, intense, insanely amazing book about a lost love! I am the ultimate cry baby and get sad at just about anything, but i rarely cry when reading a book. Within the First couple of chapters i was balling my eyes out trying so hard to keep my fresh crisp pages tear free. But this novel by Ockler seriously changed my view on a lot of things. I love that this wasn't a light boy crazy read, but a situation that is not explored a lot through writing-grievance. Anna the main character is so easy to relate to and i connected so well with her in the book. She took me on this journey from being safe and living inside the lines to jumping outside the box and living life while still remembering who she was! And Sam the typical cali-surfer was the irresistibly charming gentleman. The Writing was Fantastic, the characters were breathtaking, and the plot developed exquisitely i will re-read this over and over again! O.M.G. it was so Amazingly Fabulous! Can't Wait for more Sarah Ockler! Thanks Sarah at Sarah s Random musing for the book

Waiting on Wednesday(4)

This weeks Waiting on Wednesday is Gone By lis McMann the third and last book in the WAKE series...

Yay i cant wait to read this! I love this whole trilogy and think the idea of reading peoples dreams is so cool. Not a happy go lucky book, and i can tell this last instalment will be a brilliant ending to this intense trilogy! Comes out Feburary 9, 2010! such a long time away :(
